I asked this some time ago but received no response. Looking back I see that there is a possible mistake in my query. I do not use Billings on *multiple computers* I just have *one* Mac but have I have several companies; one invoices warehouse space at a flat rate; another one invoices different products on a unit basis, etc. Now each company has a different invoice numbering sequence. How can I, instead of going to preferences numbering and filling by hand the next invoice number for each company, do it automatically.

Billings only supports one company identity, and therefore one invoice numbering scheme.
