The contacts I find in Daylite are not showing up in Billings.

Contacts are not synced. You add them from Daylite.

See the Apple Help if you need more info on the exact steps.

I realize that. Let me explain. I click on add new client. I then select daylite. I then type in the name and select the name and then add it. It does not appear in billings. If I use address book it works.

I just tested it again. It works here.
Are you getting any errors? (check the console).

Are you bringing in a contact or an organization?
Also - make sure you have Daylite 3.7.6. We had a bug in a previous version.

Is anyone else having this issue?

i have the current version and am trying to bring in a contact. I am downloading daylite again to try a fresh new app.

I am having the very same problem. I have downloaded clean copies of DL and Billings, but still no success on importing new clients from DL. The only change I have made recently was to migrate my DL and billings to a new iMac and to purchase a second license of DL, which is installed on the old computer but not currently linked to my DL database or in active use. This is becoming quite a problem, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried removing old copies of Billings as well? (eg version 2)
Also, try updating to the newest release of Billings, currently 3.0.3. Choose Billings->Check for Updates... to update.
Lastly, ensure DL is the newest release as well.
