I'm new to billings, and just downloaded the trial. I have been using iBiz, and wanted to see if Billings had any advantages. I like the interface for the most part, but so far I see a few drawbacks, but maybe there are solutions to them that I'm not aware of.

1) can i create an easy, custom, report without dealing with tons of code and editing? for example, it would be great to run a simple report on how you've categorized tasks in your logs for all slips. so you could see:
X hours for design
x hours on conf calls
x hours doing IA
etc.

2)
the log entry area is a little window/slit, and difficult to manage when dealing with multiple entires in a slip. i also feel comments should be a field exposed in the rows, vs. in a separate area where you need to click on the task to see the details.

3)
reports
i can't export them, except potentially as a pdf in the print dialog, right?

4)
an way to import iBiz data easily?

thanks for any advice.

Creating custom reports is HORRIBLE...you have to be ale to add token script but there is no main list of what all these scripts are and support is not helpful...I have posted several times for simple report...they "connected" me with someone who never got back to me.

Until they fix these issues with support and report designing I would use something else...I was using Paymo for a while and liked it.
