I'm a freelance web designer and developer. I couldn't be a smaller company: I'm the only member of my LLC. I send out a couple of estimates and several invoices every month. QuickBooks was like using a sledgehammer to drive a tack, so I gave it up.

Fortunately, I stumbled upon Billings last night and downloaded the trial. 10 minutes later, I had my clients imported from Address Book and had generated my first invoice! I didn't read any instructions and that's a testament to Billings' intuitive interface. I'll go back to read the user manual.

I've sent out two more invoices today and am already using the timer function to track my effort.

I truly feel like this tool was made for someone just like me: a single freelancer. I love Billings. I went ahead and bought a license rather than using the trial period. It's that good...

Like Fraser said, we typically only see the problem issues here and it's nice to see the positives.

Of course, there are many people that are happy, but if they are happy, they rarely post here.

I'll add to Andy's accolades. I've been loving the improvements in v3. All the frustrations I had with v2.5 have been addressed and in most cases exceeded expectation. The support transitioning to 3 has been excellent and very pro-active. Billings has made my life as a free-lancer a lot easier - couldn't do without it. Keep up the good work.

Thought it time to cheer up the gang at Marketcircle. I upgraded from Daylite Personal to Business in August 2003.

The early days were often tough and I felt for AJ when the original email list got hot, but always there was an underlying feeling that things were getting better. Not fast enough for some grumps, myself included a couple of times.

However, slowly, steadily Daylite and Billings [I was an early adopter here too] have just kept on improving.

The latest version of Billings is a mindblowing improvement, and together with Daylite have changed the way I run my business -- for the better.

Congratulations to the whole gang.
