Is there a way to use time slips without Billings open? I want to use the menu bar time slip to start and stop throughout the day. I do not want to have Billings open and in my way.

If not, please consider this a feature request. Thank you!

Yes, Billings needs to be running... but if you don't want Billings in your way, just Hide it (Billings->Hide Billings). Then you can use the menubar timer as you like and Billings isn't in your way.

I don't like to have extra applications in my way while I work. Having this feature would sell me on Billings!

Steve: how do you think to use ANY application without running it?

if you don't want to see Billings icon in the dock or as runnign processes, you can Hide it.

but i think you should really think at what you are asking

NOTE: i chosed Billings because it has really little memory and CPU footprint, compared to others.

there are some Dashboard Widgets or Menu items that uses more CPU and memory than Billings...

I came to this forum after being frustrated by Billings high CPU utilization. On my 1.33 G4 Powerbook, Billings uses 14% average CPU, simply for running the timer. This is more than many of the apps I run in the foreground (work out of) and much more than most when running in the background. Is there a way of optimizing Billings performance?
