For clients I work with (in medical and legal fields), I need nice-looking, but "conservative" invoices. All those fancy, colorful invoices are not appropriate for conservative professions. The only one that I saw that would fit this bill is "Swiss."
I will probably use Swiss to try and make some minor modifications, but are there other invoice and statement templates out that would be appropriate here.... thnx.
We don't have any other templates available, so we aren't holding out on you or anything! Perhaps other users on the forum may be willing to share templates with you. Modifying existing ones to get a look you want is also a good option.
In the future, we could look at adding some more conservative options for our templates. Thanks for your feedback regarding this.

Thanks- I'm working on editing the Swiss template. Got most of it done. However, I'm having trouble with some of the dynamic text being unable to change the font from what seems to be "light" to "regular." When I highlight the dynamic field, the font says it's "Regular," but it clearly remains light (on both that screen, and preview screen). Other non-dynamic text changes normally to a darker font when choosing regular.
I went through the movies on all this, and none of them clearly show how to really set up the dynamic fields. Otherwise, I'd just try deleting and re-setting up the field (such as Statement Number, From Date and To Date). This WAS also a problem with non-dynamic text, but there I was able simply to delete the text that wouldn't change, and re-enter it (and it re-entered correctly).
It seems there is a bug such that changing the font in the font picker does not always actually change the font in what was selected....
If you want to change the font of all the data in the dynamic field.
- double click the dynamic text box to enter it and the press "apple + a" to select all. Then try changing the font
If you want to change the font of just one dynamic field.
- double click the dynamic text box to enter it. Select the dynamic field and then select the font
Sometimes when you enter a dynamic text box it looks like the dynamic field is selected if it's the only thing in the text box. Make sure you click on the dynamic text before selecting the new font.

I did all that... been using macs for 20 years, so very familiar with this. There appears to be a bug, where despite doing this correctly, the font is remaining "light" (looks grey, rather than black), even though it clearly shows that "regular" (for the font) is selected.
