most small businesses have more then one person that makes invoices . . any way to share a database or get multi user going?

As a partner in a multi-person consulting firm I would also very much like to know this. Merlin Projects is making it easy to have Projects with both hardware and software components and I would like to enable both the hardware and software engineers to generate invoices that are tracked together. How does one:

a) Do licensing on multi machines (I have, for example a desktop and laptop and would want to use either depending on travel). I would want to see the same database on either machine.

b) Generate and view invoices from a shared location. i.e. have the hardware and software teams each be able to generate invoices and see the total (combined) state of a client.

i make estimates and invoices,
so does my partner . .
my secretary does sometimes,
but she mostly applies payments to the invoices . .

thats a small business set up . . .

Billings is targeted towards the individual or small business that have one biller.

We will look at solving this issue in the future. First we have to get this iPhone companion out

Multi User would be SOOOO good. Can't tell you how long I been waiting for this... A lot of my friends wont touch Billings until it gets this feature and are using iRatchet, Studiometry and even GrandTotal... I love billings and am using it for my local clients but am also running a separate company.. for this other company I am using iRatchet.. would be a dream come true if this was built into Billings... no more switching between apps!..

As long as you are looking at resolving this their is some hope ... pleae dont let another 2 years go by before it becomes a reality ;(
