we're a team of 2 working partly on the same projects but also on different ones.

Is there a way to have 2 billings installations syncing each others? Only one of us is printing the billings but each one is working on projects and should be able to enter the items without having the other one to enter them for him.

Is there also a way to manage two companies with one installations?

No, there is no direct way to sync, but you can export the working slips for a project from one installation and import them into the other.

As for managing 2 companies, no you can't. But I think you could do this by swapping out the Library/Application Support/Billings folder, and thus managing 2 sets of preferences...

If you try to manually swap your database folder, it's possible there could be undesirable side effects (like with Spotlight searches). The safeset way to use Billings for multiple company identities is to create another user account on your Mac. With fast user switching, you can have Billings running simultaneously in both accounts. Avoids the danger of not swapping things out properly.
