As an architect, I usually invoice every month for a part of the total amount of each project phase, as the phases may take several months each.

Traditionally, I would go like this :

"
Total fee as agreed : 20000 euros
Phase 1 100% complete : 5000 euros
Phase 2 50% complete : 2000 euros
Phase 3 00% complete : 0 euros
Total invoice to date : 7000 euros

minus previous invoices : 5000 euros

This month's total : 2000 euros "

Ideally, I'd like to initiate the partial fee invoices from MERLIN's project schedule.

Is there a way to produce cumulative invoices like this, so a client always sees :
- how much he has committed,
- how much has been done,
- how much he has been billed so far ?

Thanks if anyone can help.
