good day - i'm sure this has come up, but i'd like to see the following:

- automated project and client numbering built into the program. i'm consdering the switch from studiometry, where the project and client numbers were automatically generated, and it was a HUGE benefit. the project number is based on the client number, plus a 4 digit code based on the year. for example, the next project i start for client# 3016 will be 8009, where '8' stands for the year (2008), and 009 for the 9th project of the year. the invoice, when generated, will be numbered 3016-8009. that way, when i receive payment, i'll know what project and client are paid. hope this makes sense.

- additional identity inputs: i'd like to have the option of adding information to my identity, such as federal tax ID number, fax number... another thing i can do in studiometry. it's good to have, so on the invoice, the client can have access to that information if needed.

Possibly there is a workaround for the Identity information, but I'm a report engine novice so not completely sure. I believe that you can customize your report templates to access any information from your Contact card in Address Book. So if you put that information into Address Book, you can have it appear on your invoices.

Looking in Address Book prefs, there doesn't appear to be a way to add generic info like a tax number, but you can easily add a fax number. But you would still have to customize your invoice template.
