Hi Guys,

I have a quite a few clients that operate on a monthly Managed Service Fee, which I have to manually raise every month, which is a real ball breaker.

Is there anyway in Billing you can set something up as a reoccuring item?

Kind regards,

Charlie

I'd like to second this feature request as well.

I am an otherwise happy user of Billings.

The suggested hint I saw here in the forums is to make templates for your recurring billings and then create slips based on the saved template.

It is tedious process since the comments and amount can't be included in the template but I have my fingers crossed they will add some functionality soon.

Cheers.

Adding my voice to the chorus on this one. Recurring Projects (with an auto-enter option, perhaps?) is the one big feature for me that's missing in Billings.

Happy as heck with it other than that.

Cheers,
Tom

Did anything eventuate from this?

Are there now Recurring billings available?

This is absolutely essential for many small businesses and it really should be in this software if it is not already.

Oh, i just realised that these posts were only from a few weeks ago!

So my question should be, are there any plans to introduce this any time soon?

Yes, it's pretty poor that we havent received a response yet. It's such an important feature!!

I'm having to build myself a custom filemaker app simply because billings won't cater for it currently.

I would like to add my voice to this also as this is a major major issue for me, too. I also am thinking I might have to develop a custom Filemaker application to handle my requirements mainly because of this lacking functionality.

Sorry, we responded some time ago saying that it is a very good feature request. There have been no significant changes to the underlying invoicing structure in Billings since 2.0 (though a few minor features and UI changes were added to Billings 2.5, including greater Daylite integration).

This will be part of our software, but I am not able to give a timeframe for competitive reasons. But, if you would all be willing to elabourate with feedback about how you tend to do this kind of billing (your process) and what kinds of features you would like, your comments will be integrated into our design.

HTH,

adam

Thanks for the response Adam.

I really look forward to this being a function in Billings as soon as humanly possible.

I too would be very keen to see this. I am a web designer and have a number of clients on monthly maintenance deals. I currently use a web based invoicing system and have just bought Billings. Please keep this one as a great feature of Billings.
