I have a 2.3mhz Core2Duo running the latest version of Leopard. I run Billings all day. Usually by the time I come back from lunch, Billings is chewing on 30% or more of one of my CPUs. I have seen it go as high as 70%.
I can bounce Billings and get a few hours of 'reasonable' usage (why it needs 5% CPU to run a timer is beyond me), but inevitably, my CPU fans start screaming again a few hours later and Billings is the culprit. This is not the first time this problem has been reported: http://forums.marketcircle.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/57810...391087264#9391087264 And honestly, this is only the first in a long list of complaints I have about Billings, most of which I can see were also posted on this board months or years ago, and all of which have gone completely unaddressed (even on the forums, for the most part). For my $60, I really expect better. Color me a very unsatisfied customer. |

We've been trying to reproduce this situation but we haven't been able to - same with that first report.
If you notice the same situation again - please try to do the following: - Launch Activity Monitor - Select Billings and click on "Inspect" in the toolbar - In the inspect window - click on "sample" - Send that to us as text Hopefully that will help us understand why this is happening for a few people. Thanks. |
