Is there a way to charge interest on a past due bill with Billings 2? I know there is a place for taxes. But, I have not been able to locate an area to include an interest rate on past due amounts.

It's not available as yet .

I've asked our engineers to look into it for a future version.

We talked about it. There are no immediate plans for this.

Frankly we haven't gotten much request for this. If more people need this, we'll re-evaluate our decision.

It kind of surprises me that there haven't been more requests for this. Late payments don't always happen but for those times it does, it'd be handy to have a place to add late fees rather than creating a whole separate invoice.

I am in desperate need of this feature!

As overdue amounts attract interest, in my case based on the Cash Target Rate, the rate would need to be updated either manually or by some external facility. Does anyone have any ideas?
