Can anyone explain to me the order in the Client list? You would think the clients would be listed alphabetically but mine aren't. My list starts with (first letters only) M, M, T, B... then in the middle I have M, N, O, P, C, P... then farther down, Q, S, P, S... Why are there clients out of order? This is very confusing when looking for a certain client.

In the preferences under General there's the option to sort by person name or company name. Your list is probably sorted by company name.

You're right. Sorting the list by persons name fixed the problem. But I still wonder why the list was out of order before. Now that I look at it I see that all the Clients that were individual people without a company name were the ones out of order. Although I cant see why they were in the positioning they were alphabetically.

I don't think that can be done with the current version of Billings. For future versions of Billings, how would you prefer the client list to display when sorted by last name:

Kevin Bryant
Alina Fun
Elise Green

or

Bryant, Kevin
Fun, Alina
Green, Elise

I would love to be able to sort my clients by last name. When sorted by last name (alphabetically), I would prefer they display as: "Smith, John".
