Hi guys,

I need some assistance creating a menu item for Daylite. What I need to do is be able to "Submit" a customer to my website form on my site from within daylite. The idea is that I could select a contact and choose "Perform Action". When I did this, it would open a window with a url like this. (The items in brackets would be database fields from daylite)

http://www.mysite.com/process.php?action=d0&name=<fi...>&zip=<zip>

Can someone give me an example of how I could accomplish this? It would help me REALLY automate a very redundant task.

Please keep in mind I know nothing about scripting for daylite.

By any chance, did you look at the Developer Kit? If not, download it and look at the SearchWithFlickr or SearchWithGoogle plugin examples.

In the SearchWithFlickr plugin, look at __SearchWithFlickrCommand: in SearchWithFlickr.m.
There it constructs a full URL (by extracting data from the contact) and opens it in the default browser.
