I am moving from a full-time job to my own business (graphic design). One thing I want to make sure of, is that I am well organized. I've downloaded daylite and started working with it. There are only a could of questions that I have before I purchase.
1) What are people doing about file sharing with clients or a sort of online proofing system? Can you share calendars and project info with clients or only with others who have Daylite installed? 2) I am a "one man" shop with a desktop and laptop. If I want Daylite on both machines do I have to buy more than one license or does the one user allow me to put a copy on two machines? Thanks in advance. |

I Have an additional question along teh same lines. I use a G4 desktop at home and a G4 ibook when I travel. Both are running Tiger, and I've installed the trail version of Daylite on both. Before I buy it I'd like ot know how I can sync the two computers so tat when I travel I have access to EXCATLY the same info as I do when working from home on my desktop.
Essentially, I just want to clone the desktop and then when I get home plug the laptop back in and update the desktops database with any changes I've made. Can i do this without a network in place for my computers? I don't have one set up and I'd much rather just do it as an offline data transfer of some kind. Can anyone help. If you can, please explain in as much detail as you can. I'm pretty tech savvy but I just got a trial copy of daylite so I haven't learned all the features yet. Thanks, Adam |
