Hi everyone, I was hoping someone could help me out especially if they have previous experience with this.

What I'm trying to accomplish is to export the Address Book from Maximizer into Daylight's Contacts with keeping most of my user defined fields as possible.

Also we are trying to export documents that are in Maximizer 9.0 and trying to import into Letters in Daylite.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Before switching to Mac I used Maximiser and it is a great product. It treats contacts and organisations in the same way as Daylite (separate record types).
How much of the Maximiser data can you export as csv data?
This will dictate how much can be imported into Daylite since there is not a dedicated Maximiser importer.
I have had a couple of clients with Maximsiser data to import.
You may well have a harder time bringing in the letters from Maximiser in an automated way so they are linked to contacts.

hope that helps a bit.

Thanks for the clarification on the letters portion this section was really frustrating.

Im guessing we could go and export these on an individual basis, but that is tedious. I'm not sure its worth it for us to do that, but great to know an answer nonetheless!

Much Appreciated,

Hi MCS,

In addition, if you are looking for step by step instructions on importing information into Daylite, check out the built in apple help system in Daylite for more details.
