I'm using the Daylite to Lightspeed connector. Lightspeed handles organisations as organisations and add a contact name to that record. So when I import a record I only get the organisation in DL, but the emails address and telephone numbers are typically personal to that contact that was originally specified in Lightspeed.
Here is the issue, can I then create a contact in DL, that effectively copies out all the info from the organisation record into the contact record. I can use 'grab' but that only gets the addresses and phone numbers. I have read past posts about the rationale of organisations and contacts and it makes good sense, but the connector is only part functional with some means of effectively creating two records that work in DL from the single combined LS record. I want to use DL as the CRM interface, but even with the connector I'm still faced with having to manually enter information. I know it's early days for the connector, by the way it's being sold but still shows a beta version 6 on the pop up when you launch it. |

I'm going to have check on that. You should be able to pull both the contact and the org and it will handle the link.
The "beta 6" was not removed - sorry about that. |

Hi AJ, did you get a chance to look into this ? I have posted the same question on the Xsila board, they now have a special board for the connector. This can be found at ...
