I've done some looking around in the forums and the knowledge base, but haven't found an answer. I'm trying to figure out how to add URLs into my letter templates.
I'm creating a template that will be sent to my clients after a visit that invites them to fill out my customer survey on my web site. I want to include the survey link in the letter template, which will be sent via email. Any help is appreciated. Hi there, Tom
I tried once an URL in Letter Template (Merge). Somehow Daylite strips URL, i.e. it becomes inactive. No success on that either. Andy |

Hi all,
You can put a URL in your Daylite letter template, just make sure you put the full URL (ie, www.daylitehelp.com). When you merge it to Mail, Mail converts everything to plain text so when previewing it will appear that your link is not a link. But when the recipient gets it, as long as it's the full URL, their email app should recognize it. I've done this a lot and it works fine. Thanks, Cynthia.
What if the full URL is scary (80 characters long, for example)? Someone pointed me to a nifty application called TinyURL but the shrunken URL did not survive the merge operation intact. |
