This is correct - release dates in the software industry (whether it's a business app. or Gran Turismo for the PS3) are almost never 100% accurate, as things come up that weren't foreseen. We released a rough time frame as we cannot guarantee an exact date. If we knew Daylite Touch was going to be ready on "September 18th at 2:00 pm", we'd say so. We understand the frustration this may be causing some people, but rest assured we are working to get this thing out as soon as possible. The longer wait will be worth everything - from what I've seen so far it's going to be incredible. We just want DT to be as stable as possible, for everyone's benefit. __________________________ rcash [at] marketcircle.com |

I have posted this before. Is it possible to get a pre-release with a trimmed down feature set? At this stage all I care about is to get everyone's calendars up and running.

Oh boy... this has blown up into something else.
MC can do whatever they like. I couldn't give a rats fat clacker. I am not blaming them for anything. I just wanted some clarity on the dates. If it is 5 years away that's fine too. Sorry if I offended anyone. I just find the "leave the developers alone, stop picking on them, etc" whining odd. Maybe it's a mac thing. I have bought 5 macs in the last 3 months after being a PC user for 20 years. I'll go and drink more Steve Jobs Coolade. Sorry all. As Howard has suggested I will lower my expectations. |
