We really need to be able to create Smart Lists using the role contacts play in a project. For example, we have a project for every workshop we conduct, and contacts are linked to that workshop via several different roles. (Referring to the "Roles & Relationships" Preferences). When creating letters, lists, etc. for those linked to a project we use different communications for the different roles so we need to be able to differentiate between them. We realize we could use a keyword, but this feels like a hack to me. We would literally need a keyword unique to each role and each project. Keep in mind the same contact could play different roles in different projects. My request to Daylite would be to add Role to the list of criteria for Smart Lists available in the Contacts view. Then we could add it to the criteria we already use to narrow the list to a specific project. Perhaps there is another way to do this that I have overlooked, or perhaps it could be a simple report. Any light anyone can shed would be very appreciated!
