Hi there everybody!

Just discovered following:

Let's say you've created a Product/Service in Window >> Products and Services. A kind of standart Product or Service, with its !!! Comments !!!

Later you've added this particular Product or Service to Estimate A.

And later — to Estamate B (via + Product/Service)

Both Estimates contain same Product/Service.

Then You've decided to change Comments for this product in Estimate A.

You know what? You've also changed Comments for this product in Estimate B.

What a pitty... We were trying to use Product/Service like a Template with some predefined values in Comments field, as it is an option to our specific business.

Andy,

Could you please explain how you tried to "change Comments" for a product in Estimate A? Did you open the Products and Services window to do so?

Thx,
adam

Adam

I switched from Estimate A to Estimate B (to be more specific, from Estimate in Opportunity A to an Estimate in Opportunity B; by Estimate I understand a collection of LineItems, these lines are of Product/Service or Custom origination), then clicked "/.."at the bottom left corner, navigated to "Comments" (in opened Estimate window), did some changes there, and clicked Ok.

Comments chaged in Estimate A. Sounds weird, huh? eek

Hope this helps.

It is still raining...
