Would it be ok to using the automatic update facility in Openbase manager to backup daylight?

Openbase manager>Select database>configure database icon>backup tab>create a compressed copy of the databse

you can even create a schedule.

Hello Jamie, Sure you can schedule and automatic updates of your database in Openbase. I would highly recommend it. It seems really reliable. The only thing I would suggest that depending on the size of your hard drive that you keep an eye your backup folder because it can grow very quickly backing up every day. Hope this helps!
