why when I'm looking at notes it shows all my created notes along with all the emails linked in. So, I make a smart list that shows notes and it shows nothing. I see there is already a smart list to show only emails. I'd like one that only shows notes.

thanks. that is odd. I did that and it wasn't working. Left the computer for an hour and came back and all the notes are in that smart list. Must of needed some time to think. I don't know. odd..

No worries. Maybe the list was just populating itself: perhaps there are a lot of non-DMI Notes in your database and/or if you were connecting to a database residing on a computer other than your own there would have been some delay in populating the list.
