I'm pretty proud of myself for figuring out how to create a letter template which I use as a contract for projects. But I'm stuck now.
Sometimes I have a project with two linked contacts. The contract/letter needs to merge with Sally Smith, program manager but not with Tom Brown, alternate contact. I can't figure out how to let Daylite know which contact I need to use in the letter and to which contact I need to email the letter.
This has always been an issue for me, too. I hope MC fixes this soon, or at least introduces a step to choose which contacts get the letter. When you merge a form to a letter, DL includes a dialog box where you can choose which contacts get the letter. But if you merge directly from the project, it does not offer this step.

While in the project, why not just select the contact(s) you want to send the letter to. The letter will be addressed to the contact but still linked to the Project.
Thank you, Clayton. That worked! I must have tried to do it every way EXCEPT that one. I also found that if I highlight two contacts within the project I get two correct letters, one to each contact.
