I NEED HELP!!!
I am a brand new Mac user, recently converted from a Dell PC running ACT! 2005 and trying to intigrate Daylite into my work. I work as a sales manager for a lab company, and one way my bosses track my work is through weekly note reports. Previously with Act i would generate a report which showed all notes and their associated contact, within the date range I chose. Can that be done with Daylite? If so how? Is their a tutorial? I also wanted to add a custom field into the main contact demographic screen. I deal with doctors accross many specialties, and i woudl like ot keep their specialty. ACT was so easy to customize, i have spent a few hours with Daylite, and i seem to be getting no where. Please help!!! |

I am not the right person to tell you exactly how to do this, but let me answer your "is it possible" question with a resounding, yes. I have a question for you? Have you gone through the video tutorials on the Marketcircle web site on building reports? On the extra field issue, there are a couple of ways to do this. One would be to use the "Extra" fields section of a contact data window. The other would be to use a Form. If you decide to use the form, be sure and look at the video tutorial on it. Once you have visited the tutorials, start building a report and then come back here with specific questions. The people on this forum are eager to help. *********************************** Stellar Technologies Macsimum News |
