Hopefully I'm missing something as I can't figure out why this functionality would be missing (well, other than the usual reason-- speeding up development ). I do a lot of repetative work, enter Activity Sets.

However, I'm unable to figure out how to add notes, link files and other standard features of tasks within the Activity Set Preferences dialog. All the standard intuative options don't work such as double-clicking on the task to open it's edit window, right-clicking on the task to do the same, etc.

All I can seemingly do is give it a name and a few scheduling options. This is pretty weak and makes this feature all but useless. I need to link documents to various tasks, note logins, etc. within the Activity Set. Is this possible?

Also, add my vote for the ability to create a complete Pipeline "template". And by that I mean creating a Pipeline with stages and tasks/appointments already in place for each stage (with the ability to only show the tasks appropriate for the current stage). This would make the Pipeline feature more than just eyecandy (I'm sure it is useful for some, but without the ability to associate tasks with the Pipeline's stages (milestones), it is just an extemely inefficient project status pull-down).

From an interface standpoint, it seems like both of these issues could be solved faily easily. For Activity Sets, add a button labeled, "Edit Task Properties" (whatever) to the task setup form. This would pop up the full task properties dialog available when you create a task within Daylite.

For the Pipeline, add the ability to associate Activity Set(s) to each stage. Seems like the easiest way to do this within the current interface would be to add Pipelines to the Associate with checkbox in the Activity Sets preferences. Then I could just right-click on a Pipeline stage and add the Activity set.

It is important to be able to associate task/appointments with a specific stage, that way when all tasks are complete for a particular stage, I know it is time to move to another stage.

Thanks for your feedback on this. Enhancements along the lines of what you're suggesting are on our engineering drawing board; it's a definite natural extension of what we've got now and we plan on heading down this path in a future release.

Sorry to bring back a fairly old topic, but being able to assign activity sets to pipeline stages would be a fantastic addition. I just started using DayLite a couple of days ago and it was one of the first things I tried to do and I was very surprise that it was not a feature.

Hi MC is there any update on the ability to edit the tasks in an activity series?

It would be great to be able to set their status:

eg "Send print order when payment received" (Determine Action status).

We use these kind of tasks as a reactive check on peoples orders etc.
