Hi There,
I have a question about how to use daylight with multiple users. If I have 2 users, do I need to have 3 macs (one for each user and one for the central database for each user to synch with) or can I do it with just 2 macs and still synchronize? Is there anywhere where it discusses the options and benefits for how to do this?? Also, In this scenario, if I have 3 macs with two users and a central database, how many licences do I need? (Hopefully only 2). Thanks .... TC |

You can do it with only 2 Macs if you wish.
You'll only need licenses for the number of users that need to be connected at the same time to the database; so in your case 2 is enough. If you do decide to go the 3-computer route, make sure you're not logged into the database on the computer hosting the database (it doesn't need the Daylite application to run for others to access it). There is more information available in Daylite Help under the topic 'About offline-online synchronization' Need help in Daylite or Billings? Check the Help menu for Apple Help documentation. Not sure what to do? Get help for windows and dialogues by click on the help button found in the bottom corner. |
