I'm accustomed to seeing emails for a Contact (associated with the Organization) displayed in the Organization view.

But now I've found a Contact (in an Organization) where the emails only show in Contact view & NOT in Organization view.

What's doubly weird is the Notes for this Contact show in both Organization & Contact view, while his emails only show in Contact view.

I ran "link contact activities to org" in Preferences but no change.

Am I doing something wrong?

While I haven't answered the basic question of how/why the emails for a Contact only show in the Contact view, by linking them back to the Organization, these "documents" now display in their proper place in the Organization view.

Certainly feels like a kludge to me, but it does work.


Unknown, of course, is how many other Contacts have such unlinked-to-the-Organization "documents."
