I would like to add an item to a template, the estimate specifially. I want to add a column that includes the discount and net price after the discount. I've got just about everything else figured out, but need some help with that.

I assume you already have your own template. If not, when you create your Estimate template, you can use an existing template as a starting point.
In the template - get to the table you want - the line items table. There, select a cell and go to the Insert toolbar menu item. There select 'add column to the left or right'. A column will be added, format the header and the data cell. In the data cell, add tokens for the data you need. Hopefully this makes sense. |

AJ.. that helped alot!
I got it working great, EXCEPT, that when I print the estimate, I'm getting a second page printing with just the header and footer (the two blue boxes). All the detail prints in one page, but I'm getting two. How come?? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Mike Guilbault, |

Thanks for your messages, it helped a lot to me! I have achieved a new report (based on the DayLite original template) with a discount column. It works well! |
