I usually get direction/project feedback from my clients via email, and use DMI to attach those emails to the clients and projects, but have not found a way to attach them to the tasks associated with addressing those particular notes. Is there a way to attach a note to a task? It would me much easier for me to be able to just select the task on the calendar/task display and read the instructions the client sent, without first having to go to the client or project panel and searching thru all the existing notes to find the one that pertains to the task at hand. It would be nice also to be able to automatically create a task from a note (email or phone call especially).

Actually the DMI does have a mechanism to do this. If you look at the lower right of the DMI drawer there is an action button. If you select the text of your email and choose "New Task" you will have a brand new task in DL with the body of the email and linked to the contacts that you've checked in the upper portion of the DMI drawer. I hope that helps!

I also would like to be able to attach items, though i already use the attach email, however i would like to be able to attach file references etc. received faxes etc. are stored on our network and i would like to be able to attach this directly to a task, rather than to the contact.
