I am doing some house cleaning with my DL database and a couple of questions came up. I'm trying to get things ready for DL's announcement that we are up and running with sync services and I want to make sure I'm where I need to be.
1 - what will the sync process look like? 2 - will we need to use missing sync (or other program) to utilize dl with sync services? 3 - I've previously synced my treo 700p with palm desktop - how is that going to affect syncing with DL? I'm sure others are going to have similar questions - let's get a discussion going. thank you! v |

I can only comment on point 2: yes - we will need Missing Sync.

another question I have is - what will happen when we sync business contacts that have the same telephone and address as the business itself. What name comes up when they call my phone? or will the sync be a version of the database on our phone. I mean if we are syncing like the address book syncs now - that is going to be a major problem with so many of my contacts having the same number as the business itself. Am I making sense here?

I think that is more a question regarding your phone than Daylite/syncing. My phone, a SE990i, has several contacts with the same phone number and I believe it just shows the first match it finds. Nick |

after puttig more thought to it - you're right about it being a phone issue. also, as long as I have cell numbers as direct lines - it won't conflict with the business contact iformation where they work.
