Hello. I am trying to figure out the most logical way of classifying or organizing my leads in Daylite. Let me start by telling you that I get a list of fresh leads every month that I send mailings to. There may be several hundred. I will send them monthly postcards up until they are 9 months old and then I will classify them as dead and no longer mail to them.
Many postcards will come back from the post office because they have moved and they are unable to forward. I want to move these off of my mailing list but I do not want to delete them entirely. Right now I set up a new group every month that contain my monthly leads. I also have a sub-group called ACTIVE set up with all of the leads in it and when I get a returned postcard, I remove them from the ACTIVE sub-group. Every month I send mailings to the ACTIVE sub-group, not the main monthly group. This seems to work fine but I just wanted to get peoples opinion if there is a better way to go about this. Such as using Categories or the Flagged checkbox somehow to control which contacts continue to get mailings. Thanks. Gary |
