I just installed v. 3.2 build 1092, and wanted to ask if anyone else was experiencing long startup times? I have 2,800+ contacts, and now it takes more than 15 minutes to startup. I did not have this problem with v. 3.1+.

I do not have a large database, and don't have your problem. However, I did find a database cleanup utility in OpenBase that is supposed to significantly improve startup times (probably by re-indexing?). If you go to OpenBase, select your primary database, and go to Action/Cleanup Database, it may run. Mine won't as I don't seem to have admin access to the database. If you are able to run it, remember to back up first. I hope it helps.

Has anyone tried this openbase cleanup yet? I am not Mac savvy enough to take it for a test drive. I also get the slow load time and want to make sure its not just my computer.

In order to perform the majority of tasks offered by the OpenBase Manager, you need (OpenBase) developer level access, which is not included with DayLite.

However, you can still run the CleanupDatabase command by choosing "Configure Database" ("command I") in OpenBase Manager, choose the "Automatic" tab, and schedule the task appropriately.
