Hi,
If like me you spend almost every day wishing MK would get DLT (daylite touch) out quicker I have found a stop gap measure for the iphone. I have started using an app called Things. It's fantastic and it comes with a very simple prog that runs on the mac so you can sync it. In fact as most of my ideas, tasks and to do's come to me when I'm not infront of DL I now just enter them into things. When I get into wifi range it syncs with the Desktop version and I can then play about with the tasks and put them in all the right lists of things to do. ( I might actually get around to doing some of them!) So until DLT comes along try Things. Perhaps MC will see that for most of us just a simple task management feature for the iphone may be the way forwards. I will still check every day for DLT news. Just in case. MC please hurry up. This is the single most important aspect for me at the moment. I just want to be able to work with DL on my iphone. I could then get my staff to get iphones and then they would all know what to do all the time without having to check DL in the office. Thanks |

Just so you know... At the moment by synchronising Daylite to AddressBook and iCal then on to MobileMe and finally through to your iphone you can achieve most of what yo want. We have been using this for some time and it workd really well. contacts and appointments with alarms can be added to your iphone and they appear in Daylite a few moments later. It works the other way round too. I admit that when DLT comes out it will be easier to create tasks and to work with opportunities but for the time being I am very pleased with you can achieve with Dayite and iphone. Best regards |

Thanks Bill,
I think I spoke to you earlier today about sales process training and you put me onto DL reports. Thanks for your help so far. I have rediscovered DL reports. I must admit I have not really looked for them since they changed the menu system after 1.9! Yes the DL to Ical to Iphone works great for me. Not mobile me connected yet. Just haven't bothered. Must get round to it. I'll put it on my Things list! Yours |

I too am waiting anxiously for DT. I use Appigo ToDo. A little more straight forward and simple than Things.
Hopefully DT will be affordable for those of us that already are Daylite customers. If it is priced in between ToDo, Things ($9.99) and OmniFocus mobile (19.99) I will give it a go. More than that and I will probably stick with what I have. |

Much as I would like to work on my opps and projects on my iphone it's the tasks that I need first.
To be able to input tasks and allocate them to my users would be my first wish. It's a shame apple have not got tasks into Ical. Them I would suppose MC could sync tasks to ical as it does very well with contacts and appointments. Perhaps there might be a Daylite Touch lite that could do tasks before the full version was released that did Ops and Projects and all the other things people want. Just a few thoughts. |

Hi Ben, Not sure what you mean by that - it already does link tasks to iCal. Regards, Howard |

Yes.
You can make reminders in iCal and Daylite and have them alert you on your iphone. |
