Can you link a note to a task?

Unfortunately, tasks and notes cannot be directly linked to one another in Daylite 3.1.x. You can group tasks and notes that are relevant to a specific topic by linking them to a project or opportunity, though.

Is the impossibility of linking Tasks (and Calendar Events for that matter) to Notes a technical/coding problem or is it just the DL team’s philosphical approach to the application? Why can’t we do it??

This would be a useful feature. I keep a running log of information I want to remember about each of my contacts in a note. It's very difficult to get to that information when a task comes due, like making a phone call to that contact.

It would also be very useful to be able to link tasks to specific timeblocks on the calendar. Is this a possibility in the near future?
