is there a way to automatically link emails created via WRITE EMAIL in daylite

for example when i control right clink to bring up "Write Email" I was hoping the emails would automatically link to the contact but I have to go into my mac mail > sent items > and manually select the Record and Link check mark which is a little bit of a pain.

I am having the same issue. I thought this worked before I upgraded. Now I have to go to sent e-mails and remember to link. Very impractical
