In our organisation it would be helpful that on creation of a project and/or opportunity that a number of objects (groups/individuals/...) are automatically linked at every creation .

I seemed to remember a thread here that confirmed this was possible but can't find it back .. or am I wrong ?

you are right this is not currently possible with Daylite.
I have requested this a number of times and hope that it will be implemented soon.
If you create an opp or project for a contact then the contact's organisation should also be linked in too.
If you create a task or an appointment for a contact the organisation is linked too so logic would dictate that it would be the same for opps and projects.
Come on MC this is a simple one that is overdue to be dealt with
