I am looking to set up a new user via a template with all the smart list that were created for another user. I know there is currently no way to do this from within Daylite, but is there a way of doing this via a copy and paste of the preference files in the Finder? This would be for a new user only.

At this point, there is no method to duplicate smart lists. I will definitely reiterate your request for engineering.
