Is there something I can do to force the whatever refresh mechanism is that shows emails as having been loaded into DL. Cmd R does nothing. Or does DL just take its jolly good time?

That indeed would be handy . Noticed that DL doesn't refresh on the spot though Mail shows it's already into DL.

On my computer the emails show up almost instantly. How long does it take on yours?

Sometimes it's fast & sometimes it's not. There's no consistency or pattern.
