My mac is set so that English is the primary language and Traditional Chinese is the secondary language.
I only want to input names (contacts, companies) in Chinese on the appropriate input forms. It seemingly won't let me. Is this possible in DayLite? Thx |

I believe so. You need to change the encoding of OpenBase to whichever tongue you prefer, though you'll have to search on the board for details, I forget. I flicked the switch about a year ago and have been adding Japanese without difficulty since.
As to a Japanese-language client - AJ, how's that coming along? Yoroshiku! |

Yes - you can change the encoding in OpenBase Manager to Japanese Shift JIS or Unicode.
Keep in mind that the Built-in Text Editor does not work well with double-byte languages (such as Japanese). We need to resolve that with a new kind of text editor before we can think about localizing, so it will be a while unfortunately ... |
