I would like to create a smartlist for all contacts that have a specific field empty (or in some cases not empty) Does the smart list support wildcards, or what is the best way of doing this?

I haven't tried it, but couldn't you use a Smart List criteria that says: "Is Not" something? Use a word that 'is not' something that would normally be there, ie. 'filled'. Therefore, the criteria would be that a certain field "Is Not - Filled". I don't know if DL sees empty fields. Might be worth a try though.

Thanks, but that would not work, because I have many possible text values in that field. So I want to search for those either without any values i.e. empty or for those that "Is Not" filled with *any* text
