Hello,
I looked thru recent postings but didn't see this topic discussed anywhere. I'm currently a single user of Daylite considering moving into a multi-user license. Starting a small business and want the people on the team to use Daylite. Here's my question: If I create a contact or an opportunity, can everyone see the activity for that contact? For example, I create a contact and then email them a couple of times and schedule an appointment with them. Can another team member see all of that when they view the contact? Can they see when the appointment is, can they see and read the emails that have gone back and forth with the contact? This kind of visibility is important and it seems obvious, but just want to make sure it's there before I commit everyone on the team to Daylite. Thanks! |

By default all users can access everything; you can define/restrict what users can access by turning on Visibility or by putting restrictions in their user account. More information is available in Daylite Help (Help -> Daylite Help) under the topics "About Visibility" and "About Users"
Need help in Daylite or Billings? Check the Help menu for Apple Help documentation. Not sure what to do? Get help for windows and dialogues by click on the help button found in the bottom corner. |

Hi.
The visibility settings are pretty powerful. (you have to turn them on activate them). you can restrict particular users to only see the contacts that they own. You could also consider creating a team of users. Each team can different viewing/editing preferences. You can access this by going to the Daylite Prefs - Users & Teams. hope that helps a bit more. regards Bill |

Thanks peeps! That's exactly what I was hoping to hear. I assumed that this was true but I appreciate the confirmation.
