Have a couple of questions.
We have an organization that we send invoices to. We've been sending them to their accounting dept. Recently the lady left and they got a new person in. How do I move all of the activity from the old contact to the new one? There's a lot of it. Secondly, once a letter has been merged in Daylite, is it possible to edit the subject after the fact? We can edit the entire letter, except for the subject, which is what we see. Thanks. |

You can select multiple items at a time from the Activity area of a Contact and drag them to the new contact. The catch is that you can only drag a batch consisting of the same type of object--i.e. all of the Notes at once, but not a mix of notes and appts.
Is the letter a File Reference? You can go to the actual source file and rename it in the Finder. -Em . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Hey Em, sorry for resurrecting this old thread, but I had a question on the subject editing.
The letter isn't a file reference, but a merged letter then saved. We type the invoice number with brief details as the subject so it will show up in Activity. Unfortunately, details will get changed last minute and we will occasionally have to edit the invoice. Editing the subject would be faster than deleting and rebuilding. Thoughts? |
