Ever since using Daylite, I've noticed that I get an Alert message from DL if I try to use one of my Address Book groups that have too many names in it. The Alert message says: "An unexpected error has occurred. Please ensure that you hvae the correct version of Daylite and DMI. You should restart your Mail."
This is with any group over about 37 names. However, if I take this same group (called "Mac Friends") and split into two (by creating two new Groups in AD, and then dragging about half of the names from Mac Friends into each new group), and then add both groups to one message, everything is fine, with all 37 contacts showing up in DMI's window. It only seems to be an issue if there are X amount of too many contacts in one group. Has anyone else seen this behavior? Can someone try to reproduce it, by creating a TEST group of say 40 known emails, and then typing that group name into a new email. My workaround of splitting my larger groups into multiple groups works fine. But I'd still like to know what the limit is, and if this is standard behavior. Mac Pro 2.66Ghz, Leopard 10.5.x, New to Daylite as of Dec 07. |
