Is it possible to change the default auto text that appears in the "name" field when a new appointment, task, note etc is created.

Because all they all start with "new appointment for "XYZ" all I see when viewing in month view is dozens of "new appointment for....." I'd prefer to have the name appear first.

For example: John Doe: Appointment

This would mean a month view calendar would have the names of the appointments. Not just, "new task for...", new appointment for ..." or "new note for..."

At the moment this isn't possible. But, it has been brought up in the forum before. I find myself having to hi-lite the default text up to the name, delete it, move to the end of the text and start entering the other information I need. Like you, I usually have the name first, then what the appointment is, such as Portrait Session, Order Meeting, Wedding Consultation, etc.

Our clients do the same thing.

My posts in here are mainly gripes I'm relaying from our clients.

I've sent up a trail database but am not willing to commit to the product unless some features are added.

For the record I run a small IT support business in Australia. Mainly design and advertising studios, many of which use daylite but most haven't fully ebmbraced it due to the few, but glaring flaws.
