We are in the process of hiring several new employees and are evaluating transitioning EVERYTHING from all sorts of sources such as Lotus, Now Up to Date, iCal, etc etc. the problem is that we have calendar, contact, etc information dating back to around 2000, with thousands of contacts. When we imported our calendars from he multiple sources and multiple people we now have duplicate duplicate entries in our calendars. The action to combine duplicate contact entries is easy enough, but there doesn't seem to be analog for calendar items....
Aside form spending a few weeks manually erasing calendar duplicates every time we adds someone to the database or import contacts/calendar data from another program, is there another way?
How are you performing your imports? Are they all from CVS or similar data, or from other applications?

In the one example we imported from Now-up-to-date, Lotus Notes, a Palm, we didn't bother with our other lists.
As I said dealing with the duplicate contacts didn't pose too much of a problem, but the calendar items have been frustrating. As there is no such provision besides wholesale deleting one at a time.
