Exactly how or when does Daylite synchronize with the Address book. Is it daily or weekly or do I have to do it manually. I set it up to sync but nowhere does it explain the synchronization process which I find very weird. The problem is that if I put something into Daylite - I don't know if and when it will make it over to the address book. It feels very unsatisfying and unfinished.

Hello Zoltan,
In Daylite>Preferences>Synchronization, there is a checkbox to Sync Automatically. If you check that box, within 10 seconds of you making a change to your database that's syncable (adding/modifying a contact/org/appt/task that you've chosen to sync), the changes will sync in the background. If you look quickly, you will see a 'synchronizing' spinner at the bottom left of your screen. If you *don't* check the box in prefs to sync automatically, you can do a manual sync via Actions>Synchronize. You can read more in the Daylite Synchronization Guide, found under Daylite's Help menu. Hope this helps, Cynthia MacBook Pro OS X 10.5/Daylite 3.7.6 ______________________________________ Daylite Master Partner, Daylite Report Certified www.daylitehelp.com ______________________________________ |
