New to Daylite, I'm looking to export all contacts who have an email address to broadcast (via a 3rd party platform) alongside other date we're buying.

Please help.

Thanks, Mark.

Hi Mark,

Daylite can export information in your database as a text file containing tab-delimited values or comma-delimited values. When you are working in the 'List Only' mode in the Results pane, you can select rows of data and export them. This can be saved as a text file that can be imported into other applications (such as Excel).

For the instructions on attempting this, more info about this can be found under the Help menu, in Daylite Help (keyword: Exporting as a tab-delimited )

If you have any sales related questions, feel free to contact me directly at the email provided in my signature.

Thanks!
Sean M

Thanks.
I managed to create a smart list and export it to csv, but all it contained was company name and contact name - no email address.

must have done something wrong somewhere, any thoughts?

Make sure you have your screen in List View and that the desired data columns (ie the ones you want to export) are included in the list view:
1. View>List Only
2. View>List Only>Column Options>drag desired data columns into the Active Columns section>check Size Columns to Fit>click Close
3. now highlight the items in the list and do File>Export

Hope this helps,
Cynthia
