Hi,
I brainstorm numerous tasks during the day, most of which are "one-off" and do not require a project of their own. I find setting due dates to be an exercise in frustration, so these tasks are entered dateless. I'm trying to create a smart list that will show me any undated and "orphaned" (not belonging to any project) tasks so I can periodically review them, but can't figure out how to do it. The options for project criteria seem to only allow my to sort FOR projects, not for tasks w/o projects associated with them. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance! I've asked this of Daylite before. Can't be done.
Hopefully, they will make this easier in the future. |

Hi Michael,
You can do a smart list in Tasks to show those Tasks that are not linked to a Project. The criteria is Projects>Name>does not contain>* Hope this helps, Cynthia MacBook Pro OS X 10.5/Daylite 3.7.6 ______________________________________ Daylite Master Partner, Daylite Report Certified www.daylitehelp.com ______________________________________ |
